KCIW 100.7 FM is the leading community radio station serving the local Brookings-Harbor community and surrounding areas. Now you can be a radio personality and get your message straight to the public. Here are three ways community voices can be heard on KCIW:

  1. Curry Café – Discuss the important issues of the day. Voices from all sides of thought are welcome. Recordings are scheduled for Sundays at 3:00 pm at the KCIW studio. This coming Sunday, April 14, the show will be LIVE. Contact Ray Gary at rayegary@gmail.com for more information.
  2. KCIW Soapbox – The KCIW Soapbox is your chance to talk, sing, rhyme, or rap about what’s important to you. It’s like a Letter to the Editor – on the radio! Come to the KCIW Studio any Wednesday at 2:00 PM. You’ll have 2 minutes to share your 2 cents. Your recording will be on the air and on the KCIW website.
  3. Community Voices on the Radio – KCIW is looking for community voices to record prepared announcements. It’s an easy, fun way to get on the air. Drop by the KCIW studio any Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 pm to make a recording.

The KCIW studio is located downstairs at the Black Trumpet Bistro, 625 Chetco Ave, Brookings. For more information go to kciw.org.
